The House of MG and its annexes, Mangaldas ni Haveli I and Mangaldas ni Haveli II are the premier boutique heritage hotels in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Ahmedabad. The House of MG has 38 beautifully appointed rooms between them, offering all modern amenities in a grand but homely ambience. It is a 20th century family mansion that is renowned for its traditional hospitality. Mahatma Gandhi first stayed in this house on arrival from South Africa in 1917. The House of MG has been tastefully restored, with all its furniture and fixtures designed and sourced from local artisans. Mangaldas ni Haveli I and II, both restored havelis, are located at a distance of 2 km from The House of MG, in the very midst of the pols. They too have all modern amenities including free Wifi. There is a cafe serving snacks and juices at Mangaldas ni Haveli II. Residents at these annexes can avail of all facilities at the main hotel.

The Green House – a slow food cafe The Green House is a beautiful al fresco restaurant located under a covered pavilion on the ground floor of the building. It serves freshly cooked Indian and international snacks, fresh fruit juices and homemade ice creams. Situated amidst beautiful greenery, The Green House is an ideal place for a meal or a snack with family and friends. The healthy snacks served at The Green House are a favourite both with visitors as well locals in Ahmedabad. The café also extends into an arched air-conditioned dining area that was earlier the buggy room of the mansion.
