1. SCOPE OF ACTIVITY
A. VENUELOOK is engaged in the business of Booking Venues for all kinds of Social and Corporate events and does not control or operate any venue, neither do own or control any venue, transport, restaurant, kitchen caravan or any other facility or service.
B. VENUELOOK shall not be responsible for any delay, improper services provided by any venue, any provider of services, for any injury, death, loss or damage which is caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any venue / event management company who are VENUELOOK's independent contractors.
C. VENUELOOK shall not be responsible for any delay or deficiency in services provided by venue, decorator, caterer, any provider of services, and/or any act or actions of guests which may result in injury, damage to the life/limb or property of the Client or interfere with enjoying or availing the services to be provided on the venue.
2. PAYMENTS
VENUELOOK accepts payments to book venue(s) and other services via its platform. The booking is subject to agreement from the venue, failing which the booking amount will be refunded in Full. PAN card copy will be required when payment amounting to Rs.25,000/- or above are made by cash.
3. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations will be managed as per the Cancellation Policy of the Booked Venue, shared and shown to clients on VENUELOOK before taking them to the Payments Page. Other than the charges incurred for the payment gateway transaction, and the amount to be retained as per the Booking and Cancellation policy of the Booked Venue, the rest of the amount will be refunded to the Client within 5 days of cancellation request from him.
4. REFUNDS
A. Refunds if any for amendments and / or cancellation will be paid directly to the client for online booking on VENUELOOK.com.
B. For booking routed through our Preferred Sales Agent (PSA) or event planner of the client, the refunds will be routed through them.
C. Refund will be processed within 30 working days from the date of cancellation. No interest charges shall be payable on the amount.
D. VENUELOOK shall not liable where the delay in refund is due to reasons beyond VENUELOOK's reasonable control.
5. TRANSFER OF ONE BOOKING TO ANOTHER
A transfer from one booking to another prior to the originally booked event date will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and would attract the cancellation charges as per the cancellation policy of the booked venue and a fresh booking would have to be made at the prevalent rates.
6. FORFEITURE OF DEPOSITS
A. VENUELOOK requires the client to pay a non-refundable interest free deposit at the time of booking a venue along with the prescribed booking form duly completed for the venue booked by the client.
B. In the event the client cancels the booking or on failure on the part of the client to adhere to the venue payment schedule as informed in the documentation check list or is unable to host event at booked venue due to any reason whatsoever, including medical ground or sickness, following cancellation charges or such charges as informed by VENUELOOK agent vide email would be levied. The refund, if applicable as per venue policy, shall be subject to provision of adequate documents.
C. Client acknowledges that such charges are just and fair and are deducted towards expenses VENUELOOK incurs towards making bookings at the request of the Client and consequent cancellation by the client.
D. There is no refund payable for any unutilized services (e.g. Meals, Entrance Fees, Optional Tour, Hotel, Sightseeing etc).
