Quatab Minar

It is one of the best tourist destination to visit if you are in Delhi. The historic monuments stand tall and looks magnificent.The tower is comprised of red sandstone and marble and the measurements say that its height is up to 73 meters. It has five stories and its diameter is 14.3 meters at the base and it becomes 2.7 meters at the top. There is another main factor inside the tower that is the spiral staircase of 379 steps. It has been saying that the design of the tower had its origin from the Minaret of Jam located in Western Afghanistan. Qutub Minar’s founder was the legendary Qutub al-Din Aibak who was behind the existence of the Delhi Sultanate. The construction of the structure was started in 1192 and it was completed by Aibak’s successor Iltumish in 1220.

India Gate

The All India War Memorial or the India Gate, a major political and historical site in Delhi, was designed to pay tribute to the Indian Army's 82,000 soldiers who lost their lives from 1914 to 1921 during the First World War, as well as the Third Anglo Afghan War. It is situated at Rajpath near Barakhamba Road metro station in Delhi.The architecture of India Gate is famed due to the triumphal arch resembling the Arch of Constantine and also compared to the Arc de Triomphe and the Gateway of India in Mumbai. The Amar Jawan Jyoti or the Flame of the Immortal Soldier is also famous. The construction of the India Gate was started in 1921 and completed in 1931. Republic Day Parade is the most prestigious event occur in front of the India Gate.

Lotus Temple

An architectural brilliance and a representative of the Indian implication is the Lotus Temple in Delhi.Visiting this temple gives you inner peace and a spiritual awakening.The temple follows the Bahai Faith that promotes peace, unity , goodwill aomng the people.The lotus temple has 27 free standing marble clad petals in clusters of three to form nine sides,they are the strong pillars of the structure. Visit Dilli Haat

Dilli Haat is an open-air market, food plaza, and craft bazaar located in Delhi. It has entrnace fee too.The area is run by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation, and unlike the traditional weekly market, the village Haat, Dilli Haat is permanent.It invokes the vibes of a traditional village fair and is a haven for foodies and shopaholics. Explore Jantar Mantar

Jantar Mantar (Yantra - instruments, mantra - formulae) was constructed in 1724. Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur who built this observatory.The Jantar Mantar is an equinoctial sundial, consisting of a gigantic triangular gnomon with the hypotenuse parallel to the Earth's axis. On either side of the gnomon is a quadrant of a circle, parallel to the plane of the equator. The instrument is intended to measure the time of day, correct to half a second and declination of the Sun and the other heavenly bodies.
