Charminar of Hyderabad is located at the Old City and it is one of the most visited place too.This square shaped structure with a height of 56 m and breadth of 30 m was constructed in 1591. It was built by Sultan Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah in the honor of his wife Bhagmati.

Located atop Kalapahad's 280-foot-high hill, the beautiful Birla Mandir derived its name from the industrialist Birlas who founded Birla temples.It was constructed in 1976, it is said it took It took 2000 tonnes of white marbles to build this stunning temple which was brought from Rajasthan. It has drawn its architecture from the amalgamation of three known architectural designs - South Indian Architecture, Utkal temple Architecture and Rajasthani Architecture.

Founded in the approximately 12th Century by the Kakatiya Kings, this massive Golconda Fort with eight gates and 87 bastions was later built by Qutub Shahi Kings.With perimeters of around 11 kilometers, the fort has 15 to 18 foot high walls. It has huge gates that have pointed iron spikes on them. This protected the fort from Elephants damaging the fort as well as enemy attacks. Golconda fort presents a mesmerizing architecture which will astonish you at each and every step. This fort has been built on a granite rock with a height of 12 meters. Huge rampart around the golconda fort was built, a glimpse of which can still be seen.Golconda Fort Hyderabad is an example of brilliant mystical design and engineering.The name of the fort has been derived from the Telugu words "Golla" and "Konda" which together means 'Shepherd's Hill'.Another feature that makes Golconda fort all the more attractive is the light and sound show presenting its history and facts.
