It is the second-largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan . Jodhpur is famous for its blue buildings, which were originally painted to signify that they were occupied by Brahmins, the highest caste in India.The tourist attraction is the Mehrangarh Fort , it is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue.

Ghanta Ghar, also known as the clock tower is an important and most popular landmark in the Blue City of India.
