We had visited TBC for dinner a few minutes back. This is the 3rd time we have visited the place in the last few months. Today’s experience was horrible. I had just signed up for Zomato Gold membership. When we entered the restaurant, I asked the manager if they accept Zomato gold membership offer. To which he said yes. Then I mentioned to him that we have taken the membership, to which he smiled and said ok. Then we place our order. One of the dishes we ordered was Grilled Chicken breast sizzlers, which say that it is serves with veggies of the day and home style potatoes. When the dish came it was dice chicken with French fries, smashed potatoes and rice. When I asked the waiter, he was clueless and said he newly joined so I called the manager. And all he did was bullshit as if we were eating sizzlers for the 1st time. He says home styled potatoes is mash potatoes. And the dish is served with rice or noodles. When I brought it to his notice that it’s not mentioned in the menu and the other sizzlers which serves rice /potatoes has a mention of it in the menu. He says I need to ask the owners why they have not mentioned it. It is good point you noticed. Finally, when the bill came, I asked about the Zomato membership offer. He says you didn’t unlock the code before the order. I mentioned to him when we entered the restaurant that’s when we had enquired with him about the member and then I mentioned that we have taken the membership to which he smiled and said ok. But still he didn’t acknowledge his mistake. And said that they cannot cancel the bill. And he had this smile on his face as though we were stupid. This is the second time he has done this. The last time we order French fries, they were served soggy and that time he again was talking nonsense. It only when my wife told him either get me fresh French fries or I am cancelling this order. He got fresh French fires. Today we felt like we are paying TBC for the mistakes they make in providing the right dish and service. And the managers job is to cover their short coming. We were planning to take our friends there. But now we will never visit TBC again.
